Fig. 4.65 upper right figure won’t work because he ignores the body diode, which will always conduct if the p-channel devices are used in the polarity shown.
Fig. 4.67 lower left figure, the Id direction is wrong, for a similar reason. To get curves shaped like those in the lower right, you need to plot -Vds, which implies a different polarity and direction of current flow than shown on th left.
