Notes from overview lecture on a arduino microcontroller (www.arduino.cc), a microcontroller that is relatively easy to learn to use.
His presentation will be starting at 5:30pm in Warnock room 2250. I should have handouts and more information available at the presentation.
His lecture will include:
- Basic C review.
- Basic terminology (PWM, ADC, Digital vs Analog, Hz)
- Installation of driver + software.
- How to access the analogRead, analogWrite and Digital In?/Out functions.
- How to setup for serial communication over USB.
- Do some minor \”consulting\” on peoples projects.
