Washoe County, Nevada: More U robotics in the News! Mechanical engineering associate professor Kam Leang is leading an unmanned aircraft system to test how the new technology can assist in emergencies. This project is leveraged by Company Drone America and Reno Public Safety Sector.

The Washoe County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program received a certificate allowing the program to use Drone America’s DAx8 Unmanned Aircraft System to test how the new technology can assist in emergencies.
