University of Utah adjunct professor and professor emeritus of Gyeongsang National University Joung Man Park was named a Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) Fellow for 2024. This award is a recognition made by peers in the society to highlight notable contributions in the field of advancing materials and process engineering technology. Dr. Park is one of four individuals recognized this year. SAMPE is a global professional member society providing educational opportunities and shares information on new and advanced materials and processing technology. Dr. Park has been a collaborator with emeritus distinguished professor K.L. (Larry) Devries for many years.
